There is a timeless quality about the layers of lustre that Mike Cogswell applies to his work .
You will discover nuances of colour and pattern as you look at the pieces from different perspectives and in different lights.

The magic of lustres
Lustres are an onglaze method of applying colour, which means that they are used on the pottery after it has been glaze fired. All the lustre colours have to be fired separately so that the work may be refired up to a dozen times.
